What's New
The What's New feature is a feed for all new content on your site. It is fully permission-aware, so your users only see what they have permissions to view.

What's New is available as a home or side block you can add from the Layout tab of your Site Admin, and can also be accessed at http://your-site.mmoguildsites.com/whats_new
We hope everyone's enjoying 2010 so far =)
We have quite an active site so this is Nicely done, great feature, Thank you
How do you set the permissions for this?
Hi Gamer Amelli,
The permissions for this are all set automatically for you; for example if you've made it so Guests cannot see characters or guildapps, when they view the what's new no character or guildapp info will be shown =)
This doesn't seem to work, or do you have to set the permissions for each thread individually? We have a post in the officers forum which everyone can see the updates on, even if they can't see the actual thread.
Hi Mondrup,
Could you send me an email at staff@mmoguildsites.com with some more info on this, including a link to the thread and an example of one of your members who can see it who shouldn't.
Thanks,
8 Toes
I think the updates that has been made over the months has been great.
Now, on my wish list is more design possibilities, to be able to customize to look more than just the CSS file.
Like the ability to move menu, or change the width of columns.
Also, besides design changes, I'd love to be able to set a default starting time and duration for raids. Basically set a template for a raid.
Hi Jeaz,
Thanks for your feedback =) After we finish the audit logs for the remaining sections we're going to be doing a revamp of the theme editor, adding some new features there, so some more design possibilities should be possible after that update =)
Cool, looking forward to it.
